The next meeting of the Leisure & Amenities Committee will be held in the Millennium Hall on Monday 20th May 2019 at 7.00pm.
It is expected that all members will make every effort to attend. Any member not able to attend should pass their apologies to either the Chair of the Committee or the Clerk.
Agenda
1. To appoint a chairman and, if required, a vice-chairman

4. To receive the notes of the Leisure & Amenities Committee meeting held on
5. 1st April 2019 and agree for them to be signed as a true record.
To resolve on any actions accordingly on all following items:
General Playing Field/Play Areas:
6. To note contractor’s clarification of costings for some annual maintenance jobs
7. To consider any inspection feedback on both play area gates; and any quotes as follows:
a) quote to adjust gate post; and to supply and fit a self-close mechanism at St Pauls Play Area
b) quote to change Laburnum Drive Play Area gate so it opens inwards
8. To consider external play inspection reports from inspections held on 3rd April
Laburnum Drive Play Area:
9. To consider feedback following springer motorcycle bolt inspection (Cllr Bates)
10. To note matters relating to the relocation and emptying of the Play Area bin
St Paul’s Play area:
11. To consider any quote for a chainmail basketball hoop
12. To consider any quote for a bag of eco-tumble to carry out repairs
13. To consider any quote to repaint lines on the basketball court (Cllr Brylewski)
14. To note order has been placed for 3 springer play items
Cherry Fields:
15. To receive and consider any report as required
Burial Ground:
16. To consider quote for a wooden bench
17. To consider future burial ground provision
18. To note approach from resident regarding cremation plot matter

19. Any other matters to report or for inclusion in the next agenda.
