The next meeting of the Human Resources (HR) Committee will be held in the Millennium Hall on Thursday 25th August 2022 at 7pm.
It is expected that all members will make every effort to attend. Any member not able to attend should pass their apologies to either the Chair of the Committee (Cllr Lacy) or the Clerk/RFO.
Prior to the start of the meeting a public forum of no more than 10 minutes will be held. The public may address the Committee on current matters or issues that may become future agenda items.
1. To approve a note taker.
2. Apologies, welcomes and attendance, including accepting apologies and the reason for absence where given.
3. To receive declarations of interest under the Localism Act 2011 – being any pecuniary interest in agenda items not previously recorded on Member’s Register of Interests.
Members declaring interests should identify the agenda item and type of interest being declared.
To note dispensations given to any member of the council in respect of the agenda items listed below.
4. To receive the notes of the HR Committee meeting held on 30th May 2022 and resolve to approve as minutes.
5. TO RESOLVE TO MOVE INTO CLOSED SESSION IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE PUBLIC BODIES (ADMISSION TO MEETINGS) ACT 1960 DUE TO THE CONFIDENTIAL NATURE OF THE BUSINESS TO BE DISCUSSED IN RELATION TO THE FOLLOWING MATTERS:
i) Resolve to approve the Pay Policy and agree for submission to Full Council on 6th September 2022.
ii) To ratify the appointment of the new Assistant to the Clerk/RFO and confirm start date.
iii) Discuss the 2023/24 budget and pass to the next Finance & General Purposes Committee meeting for consideration.
