The next meeting of the Leisure and Amenities Committee will be held in the Millennium Hall on Monday  10th February 2025 at 19:00  It is expected that all members will make every effort to attend.  Any member not able to attend should pass their apologies to either the Chair of the Committee - or the Clerk.

 

Prior to the start of the meeting a public forum will ordinarily, of no more than 15 minutes, be held.  The public may address the council on current matters or issues that may become future agenda items.

  1. To note and record apologies and absences.

  2. To receive any declarations of interest in accordance with the Localism Act 2011 and consider any requests for dispensations in relation to Disclosable Pecuniary Interests or other interests as outlined in the Council’s Code of Conduct.

  3. To receive the minutes of the L & A Committee meeting held on the 28th October 2025 and agree for them to be signed as a true record.

  4. To review and approve the burial regulations.

  5. To receive an update on the tree and shrub tidying at St Pauls.

  6. To review progress of the grant for purchase of the Zip Wire for St Paul’s play area

  7. To discuss and resolve any action necessary for the Carlton FC lease 

  8. To discuss and resolve the reduction of green bins at the burial ground.

  9. Items relating to 

    1. St Pauls Play Park

      1. To discuss and approve a purchase of a new bin at St Paul’s 

      2. To discuss and resolve any necessary action following the playground inspection

    2. Laburnum Play Park
