St Paul’s Play Park

To discuss and resolve any necessary action following playground inspection

No inspection has taken place. Two new junior swing seats have been replaced. The gate has been assessed and it’s not causing a finger entrapment. This statement will be added to inspections going forward.

Prohibitory signs (St Paul’s and Laburnum Drive)
No motorised vehicles sign to be added to the sign with the addition of ‘No unauthorised vehicles allowed’. What 3 words to be added in addition to the post code. Action: Cllr J Robinson/Admin Asst

Sensory path repair - due to the recent bad weather, this will be completed at the end of February/beginning of March.
Swing set from Playdale (inclusive swings) to be ordered

Laburnum Play Park

To discuss and resolve any necessary action following playground inspection

No inspection has taken place

Repair to wooden balance beam
Unable to remove bolts from piece of equipment. . Request handyman to meet with Cllr A Burge

Nest swing replacement
A replacement swing has been delivered. Cannot remove the bolts. Request handyman to quote

Wet Pour replacement of rubber tiles (junior swings)
Awaiting confirmation of date for work to be undertaken

New play equipment (Tower)
A quote has been received from Playdale for Orangutan. Need to measure the area and request quotes for similar equipment from 2 other providers

Removal of see saw
Decision to be made after the new equipment has been purchased.

To discuss actions relating to the burial ground
I. Further work that may be required on headstones - work will be undertaken when the
weather improves
Ii. Benches - No response from article in Cherry News. Request from Mr Nowell to
install a bench. Council agreed for a Peak Bench and anchor kit from TDP as this is
a uniform style for the village. Meet with Mr Nowell to confirm location. Resolved
Iii. Special offer from Boston Bulbs for snowdrop plants. Max spend £100.00 -
