The next meeting of the Allotment Sub-committee will be held in the Millennium Hall on Monday 26th February 2024 at 19:00.  It is expected that all members will make every effort to attend.  Any member not able to attend should pass their apologies to either the Chair of the Committee Cllr Burge or the Clerk.

 

Prior to the start of the meeting a public forum will ordinarily, of no more than 15 minutes, be held.  The public may address the council on current matters or issues that may become future agenda items.

Agenda

 

  1. To appoint a minute taker.

  2. To note and record apologies and absences.

  3. To record declarations of interest by any member of the council in respect of the agenda items listed below. Members declaring interests should identify the agenda item and type of interest being declared To note dispensations given to any member of the council in respect of the agenda items listed below.

  4. To resolve to sign the minutes from the allotment meeting from the 22nd January 2024 as a true record.

  5. To receive an update and resolve any actions in relation to the allotment association.

    1. Allotment association fees

    2. Annual change of the Allotment gate code.

    3. Hire of Millenium Hall for the Allotment Association Committee.

    4. Safety regarding ponds

  6. To review the Allotment Tenancy Agreement and approve any suggested amendments.

  7. To discuss and resolve a request from plot holder 27 & 28 to change the name on their tenancy.

  8. To discuss and resolve a request from plot holder 10 to add a member to their tenancy.

  9. To receive an update on unpaid allotment annual fees and vacant plots. 

  10. To discuss and resolve any actions required with regard to hedge cutting at Tanfaine.
