Minutes of Cherry Willingham Parish Council’s Finance & General Purpose Committee held on Tuesday 13th January 2026 at 2pm in the Millennium Hall.

To receive notes of the F&GP Committee Meeting held on the 21st October 2025 and approve as minutes.
RESOLVED unanimously to approve the minutes from the 21st October 2025 as true record
FINANCE

To receive the end of quarter summary from the RFO and review the variances from the budget. Consider any budget changes for 25/26 to recommend to Full Council.
A financial summary was given and no recommended changes raised.

To review and make recommendations to full council on the grass cutting tenders for 26-27.
RESOLVED to recommend Glendale as the grass cutting contract for 26-27 with 4 votes for and one abstention.

To consider the quotes for moving to a council owned email domain.
RESOLVED to discuss in more detail at the Full Council meeting on 19th January 26.

To review the provisional budget including suggested new projects for the financial year 26-27. Subject to Full Council approval.
RESOLVED to recommend to Full Council the budget of £118,440.

To consider a precept estimate for 25/26 subject to Full Council approval. WLDC requires an estimate by 21/11/25 and the final claim form by 23/01/26.
RESOLVED to recommend to Full Council a precept request of £108,150 with the remaining £10,290 to be spent from balances. An increase of 2.15% or £1.60 per year on a band D property.
