A meeting of Cherry Willingham Parish Council’s Leisure and Amenities Committee will be held on Thursday 15th July 2021 at 7pm at The Millennium Hall, 16 Church Lane, Cherry Willingham.

It is expected that all Members of the Committee will make every effort to attend. Any Member of the Committee not able to attend should pass their apologies to the Clerk prior to the start of the meeting.

Prior to the start of the meeting, a Public Forum of no more than 15 minutes will be held. The Public may address the Parish Council on current matters or issues that may become future agenda items. Any member of the public who would like to join the meeting should contact the Clerk, before 12:00 noon on Tuesday 13th July 2021, who will give guidance on the etiquette for the meeting. If you are telephoning, please leave a message giving your name and contact number and the clerk will call you back.


AGENDA

1.   Apologies

2.   Members declarations of interest, gifts and hospitality

3.   To receive the notes of The Leisure and Amenities Committee meeting held on 21st May 2021 and agree for them to be signed as a true record

4.   Burial Ground Task and Finish Group.

To receive a report from the group.

5.   Laburnum Drive Playing Field and St Paul’s Play area.

i)   To agree to the timing of the annual cleaning of the play surfaces

ii)   To receive a report on the recent installation of a small bin at St Paul’s play area to avoid overflowing bins (a Health and Safety hazard). - Cllr Brylewski

iii)   To consider the replacement baby swing and roundabout and agree any actions required.

iv)   To receive an update on the cricket ground and agree any actions required.

v)   To consider the repair of the manhole cover on the approach to the bowls club and agree any actions required.

vi)   To consider the repair list of play equipment and agree any actions required.

vii)   To consider the options for resurfacing at Laburnum Play area as quoted by EKM and agree any actions as required.

6.   Burial Ground:

i)   To receive an update on the repairs to the noticeboard.

ii)   To agree on any actions in relation to the grass cutting

7.   General

i)   Any other matters to report or for inclusion in the next agenda.

8.   To confirm the date of the next meeting.
