May 2022 Minutes Planning Cttee

Minutes of the Cherry Willingham Planning Committee,

 Held on Wednesday 4th May 2022  at 7pm at The Millennium Hall

 

Present: Cllr Lacy (Vice Chair), Cllrs Bates, Trahearn  Brylewski, and  Scott.

    Cllr Lacy was asked  to take the minutes.

 

No members of the public were present.

 

  1. Welcome and to resolve to receive apologies and accept reasons for absence.

Apologies had been received from Cllr Bridgwood who had another engagement and Cllr Houghton who was unwell. 

.

It was RESOLVED to accept the apologies and reasons for absence.

 

  1. Members' disclosure of pecuniary interests.

None.

 

  1. To receive notes of the last meeting held on 28th March 2022 and agree for them to be signed as a true record.

It was RESOLVED to accept the minutes. They will be formally signed at the next meeting.

 

  1. It was AGREED that planning applications should be recorded on the Council’s register, and it was noted that the register is being brought up to date.

 

  1. Application Reference No 144645 – Land to the rear of 7 Waterford Lane, Cherry Willingham – Planning application for 3 bungalows with rooms in the roof space.

 

The Committee was informed that the residents of the properties on Lime Grove have been kept fully informed and concerns about sight lines have been resolved by the inclusion of a 6 ft fence on the east side of the development. The committee had no further comments.

Application reference 144787 - 7 Waterford Lane Cherry Willingham Lincoln LN3 4AL Full application for removal of garage, outbuildings and conservatory and form an extension with new integral double garage.  

 

 This application had only been received on the day of the meeting but is closely related to Application 144645. The committee conducted a site visit. They are concerned that the north wall of the garage present as  a large unbroken expanse of brick close to the footpath although they accept that the proposal for hedge along the boundary will ameliorate this. There were no other comments.  

 

  1. No date was set for the next meeting It will be held when a significant application is received 

or in 3 months’ time (August). whichever is sooner.
