Dear Member 

You are hereby summoned to a Human Resources Committee meeting of Cherry Willingham Parish Council which will take place at The Millennium Hall, Cherry Willingham at 2pm on Wednesday 1st November 2023 at which the under mentioned business will be transacted. 

Prior to the start of the meeting a public forum of no more than 15 minutes may be held. The public may address the Council on current matters or issues that may become future agenda items.

Agenda 

 

  1. Apologies, welcomes and attendance, including to accept apologies and the reasons for absence, where given. 

  2. To receive any declarations of interest in accordance with the Localism Act 2011 and consider any requests for dispensations in relation to Disclosable Pecuniary Interests or other interests as outlined in the Council’s Code of Conduct. 

  3. To receive the notes of the last meeting held on the 18th August 2023 and agree for them to be signed as a true record.

  4. To discuss and agree on a Clerk Job Description and recommend to Full Council.

 

  1. To discuss and resolve to agree on a Clerk contract. 

 

  1. To review existing Recruitment policy, and to agree to any amendments/additions, 

if and where required and to recommend to Full Council.

 

  1. To discuss and resolve the Flexible working policy and recommend to Full Council

 

  1. To discuss the Safeguarding policy and recommend to Full Council

 

  1. Discuss the need for a data breach reporting form 

 

  1. Divide up all policies for reviewing and recommend to Full Council


 

Resolved to move to closed session in accordance with the public bodies(admission to meeting) act 1960 due to the confidential nature of the business to be discussed in relation to the following matters.

 

  1. To discuss and consider succession planning and actions accordingly.

 

  1. Items for next meeting.

 

  1. To confirm a date for the next meeting.
