Minutes of Cherry Willingham Parish Council’s 

Human Resources Committee held on Wednesday 2nd April 2025 at 11:00 in the Millennium Hall.

Present: Cllr K Mellor - Chair, Cllr M Palmer, Cllr I Fleetwood, Cllr J Trahearn, Cllr P Bucke

  1. To elect a Vice-chair

DEFERRED until May 2025.

  1. To elect a minute taker.

RESOLVED unanimously to elect Cllr M Palmer.

  1. To note and record apologies and absences. 

NONE

  1. To receive any declarations of interest in accordance with the Localism Act 2011 and consider any requests for dispensations in relation to Disclosable Pecuniary Interests or other interests as outlined in the Council’s Code of Conduct.

NONE

  1. To receive the notes of the last meeting held on the 05th February 2025 and agree for them to be signed as a true record.

RESOLVED unanimously to approve the minutes from the meeting of the 05th February 2025 as a true record.

  1. To review the Lone working policy

RESOLVED unanimously with the suggested amendments to recommend to FC.

  1. To Review the Disciplinary Policy

RESOLVED unanimously with the suggested amendments to recommend to FC.

  1. To  review the Grievance Policy.

TO RESOLVE TO MOVE INTO CLOSED SESSION IN the 

ACCORDANCE WITH THE PUBLIC BODIES (ADMISSION TO MEETINGS) ACT 1960 DUE TO THE CONFIDENTIAL NATURE OF THE BUSINESS TO BE DISCUSSED IN RELATION TO THE FOLLOWING MATTERS

 

  1. To receive a report from a line manager regarding staff welfare.

Appraisal to take place with the Clerk on the 7th April 2025. Appraisal to take place with the RFO in April/ May.

Clerk has been appointed as a Clerk/ RFO at another Parish.

 

  1. To confirm a date for the next meeting.
