Neighbourhood Plan – Focus Groups
The 4 focus groups will look at different aspects of the NP. Cllr. Houghton to write to all the volunteers on the list so far to thank them and assure them there would be a meeting very soon. This first meeting will be for all the volunteers to hopefully attend. First available date is 14th May, RH to ask the Clerk to book The Vine. Looking to start the groups in May and finish by the end of July. (We will need to know about availability of technical grant at end of July as need help with building design, environmental assessment and housing needs assessment). There may be further volunteers from the Annual Parish meeting, and the first meeting will be an introductory session with notes for any not able to attend. A copy of the brief for each volunteer, 1hr to 11/2hrs will be ample, with teas and coffees etc. Need to report to Steve Kemp that his briefing notes are OK. The questionnaire however would be better if it was organised as a tick box exercise rather than making statements. This can be given out on the 14th, also online survey (Survey Monkey), paper copies, Facebook, PC site to reach as many residents as possible. Question about mailing list from the time of the Eastern Bypass preparations and whether it is still extant. Although it may be too late by the time of the Gala it might be possible to use that event to pick up anything not sufficiently evidenced from the initial questionnaire.

To discuss and resolve any responses to the following planning applications
-
WL/2025/00234 Land off Cherry Paddocks. No objections on grounds of sustainability. However, need to watch that these small incremental building do not lead to a bigger development, which was turned down previously, as that could change the status of Little Cherry.
-
Rudgard development. Final day to get comments in is tomorrow lunchtime. Dr. Lacy has done a terrific job in putting together an incredibly detailed response, tying it in to the Local Plan and the Neighbourhood Plan. It is a comprehensive and well researched document which RH will send in to WLDC tomorrow.
-
Any matter for report and notice of items to be included in the next agenda.
None
