The next meeting of the Finance and General Purposes Committee will be held in the Millennium Hall on Tuesday 21st October at 10.00am.  It is expected that all members will make every effort to attend.  Any member not able to attend should pass their apologies to either the Chair of the Committee, Cllr A Burge or the Clerk.

 

Prior to the start of the meeting a public forum will ordinarily, of no more than 15 minutes, be held.  The public may address the council on current matters or issues that may become future agenda items.

  1. To note and record apologies and absences.

 

  1.  To record declarations of interest by any member of the council in respect of the agenda items listed below.

  1. To receive notes of the F&GP Committee Meeting held on the 15th July 2025 and approve as Minutes. 1. 

  

            FINANCE

  1. To receive the end of quarter summary from the RFO 2 and review the variances from the budget.3 Consider any budget changes for 25/26 to recommend to Full Council.

  2. To consider the quotes for moving to a council owned email domain 5

  3. To review the provisional budget including suggested new projects for the financial year 26-27.  Subject to Full Council approval. 6 

  4. To consider a precept estimate for 25/26 subject to Full Council approval. WLDC requires an estimate by 21/11/25 and the final claim form by 23/01/26.7  

  5. To receive an update on CIL income and expenditure and approve the CIL report for WLDC, if available.8

  6. To consider appointment of an internal auditor for 25-26.9
