A virtual meeting of Cherry Willingham Parish Council’s Leisure and Amenities Committee will be held on Monday 9th November 2020 at 7.30pm
It is expected that all Members of the Committee will make every effort to attend.
Any Member of the Committee not able to attend should pass their apologies to the Clerk prior to the start of the meeting. A Public Forum of no more than 15 minutes will be held. The Public may address the Parish Council on current matters or issues that may become future agenda items. Members of the Public who wish to attend, should contact the Clerk, before 12:00 noon on Friday 6th November 2020, who will give guidance on the etiquette for the meeting.
AGENDA
1. Apologies
2. Members declarations of interest, gifts and hospitality
3. To receive the notes of The Leisure and Amenities Committee meeting held on 7th September 2020 and agree for them to be signed as a true record
4. Laburnum Drive Playing Field and St Paul’s Play area:
i) To receive an update in relation to the project and maintenance expenditure to date (RFO)
ii) To consider authorising the additional expenditure of £407 to include the removal of existing rubber mulch prior to the re-surfacing at St. Pauls
iii) To consider and agree the maintenance budget request for 2021/2022 including amending the Grass Cutting schedule
iv) To consider items for projects in 2021/2022 and agree the budget request accordingly including a project to install some play equipment at St Pauls play area for children under 5 to have free unassisted play
v) Update on Motorcycle ride (Cllr Brylewski)
vi) Update on recently painted equipment (Cllr Brylewski)
vii) Update on monthly inspection reports (Cllr Robinson)
viii) Review arrangements for emptying the bins at both sites
ix) Update on Cricket club compound
x) To agree any actions needed regarding the maintenance and cleaning of safety surfaces at both sites
xi) To consider the quotes from EKM for
a) Maintenance work at Laburnum Drive and St Pauls
b) Supply and fit a new gate at Laburnum Drive subject to Full Council approval
5. Burial Ground
i) To receive an update in relation to the project and maintenance expenditure to date (RFO)
ii) Update from RFO on purchase of Grave markers
iii) To consider items for projects in 2021/2022 and agree the budget request accordingly
iv) To consider and agree the maintenance budget request for 2021/2020
v) Update on fence painting (Cllr Brylewski)
vi) To receive a report on work undertaken since the last meeting
vii) To note any further planned work (Cllr Brylewski)
viii) To agree any further maintenance required, including accepting quotes where applicable
6. General
i) Any other matters to report or for inclusion in the next agenda
ii) To confirm the date of the next meeting
