A meeting of Cherry Willingham Parish Council’s Leisure and Amenities Committee will be held on Monday, June 27th, at 7.30pm at The Millennium Hall, 16 High Street, Cherry Willingham.  Any member of the public who would like to join the meeting should contact the Clerk before 12noon on Friday, June 24th, 2022, who will give guidance on the etiquette for the meeting.  If you are telephoning, please leave a message giving your name and contact number and the clerk will call you back.

  3. To elect a Chairman of the Leisure and Amenities Committee

  4. To elect a Vice-Chairman of the Leisure and Amenities Committee 

  5. To elect a representative of the Leisure and Amenities Committee for the Finance and General Purpose Committee 

  6. To receive the minutes of The Leisure and Amenities Committee meeting held on 25th April 2022 and agree for them to be signed as a true record.

  7. To receive an update in relation to the new Youth and Community Centre meeting

  8. To receive an update on quotes for the resurfacing and remarking of the basketball court

  9. To receive an update on the consultation regarding a maintenance schedule for the village trees

  10. Laburnum Drive Playing Field and St Paul’s Play Area
    a) Annual Play Park Report
    b) Surface cleaning next due in October
    c) To review any play park inspections and agree any actions
    d) To receive any update on the Cricket Club
    e) Projects for consideration if the £5,000 is not needed for the cricket safety nets
    f) To receive any update regarding a wet pour overlay on the tiles at Laburnum Drive
    g) To discuss the drain lid which is being lifted and a potential danger to park users 

  11. Burial Ground
    a) To receive an update on maintenance issues and agree any actions
    b) To receive an update on the removal of a dead tree

  12. To receive an update from the Future Burial Ground Task and Finish Group 

  13. General: Any other matters to report for inclusion in the next agenda

  14. To confirm the date of the next meeting
