Minutes of the HR Committee Meeting held at 6pm on 2 June 2023 in the Millennium Hall
Present: Cllr Fleetwood (Chair) Cllr Mrs Burge and Cllr Palmer
1. To elect a minute taker
Cllr Palmer was elected to take minutes.
2. To resolve and receive any apologies and accept reasons of absence council in respect of the agenda items listed below.
Cllrs Bucke and Mellor - accepted
3. Declarations of interest: To record declarations of interest by any member of the council in respect of the agenda items listed below.
Members declaring interests should identify the agenda item and type of interest being declared
To note dispensations given to any member of the council in respect of the agenda items listed below. - none
4. To discuss and agree to advertise the RFO position - Resolved to recommend to Full Council that the position of RFO is advertised internally.
5. To review and discuss the HR Terms of Reference, with any suggested amendments
Resolved to recommend the adoption of the T of R
6. To review and discuss the Data Protection Policy
Deferred to next meeting
7. Review the procedure of the Confidential Notes. Resolved to recommend to Full Council that the confidential notes taken in closed session are detailed for retention by HR and a resume is distributed to Councillor’s. The detailed note would be available to all in the office. The Chair of HR to give a full report to Councillor’s in closed session.
8. Thanks were given to Cllr Mrs Burge for all her work
