Fun Dog Show: Discussion around ideas for who to invite to sponsor. SB to follow up with Vippies. Dogs Trust bags donated will do for prizes. Hamper donated by Veterinary Hospital. Sponsor packages agreed at £30 for a class and £30 towards rosettes, would provide logos on advertising/programme. Risk assessment to be checked and re-dated. The next meeting should cover roles and responsibilities on the day. Cllr. Robinson informed the committee that there was a chance that a carving of 2 corgis to commemorate the late Queen would be ready by 7th June, and it was agreed that if it was there would be an unveiling at this event. Three large wheelie bins are available for rubbish and dog poo bags, although the large liners are needed. Discussed possibility of advertising in Townlands. Advertise free parking. Should be 2 people on the gate.

Gala/Produce Show: Cllr. Pitchford reported that preparations for the Gals were ‘trundling on’. Need to ask for flat-bed curtain sided trailer from Dean Semper. There has been a lot of interest for the music stage. Power will be supplied from the cricket pavilion. Cllr. Pitchford asked Cllr. Bates to supply a commentary van with Public Address. Cllr. Bates agreed to provide same for £100 as a special price. At this point Cllr. Bates declared an interest in this agenda item. The quote was accepted unanimously. Cherry Judo Club will do a demo, they will need an arena. PS to approach RBL bike group. LNAACT and LIVES to be approached to provide stalls. Cllr. Mrs. Burge to approach the Lincoln Academy football on the Carlton Centre. The caving Club will attend. Schools and Scouts groups have been approached but they have not responded. Book toilets for the gala at the same time as for the Dog Show. They could go on the hard standing in the pub car park. After some discussion it was agreed that the Produce Show would not form part of the gala as it would be too difficult to organise enough staff to cover it. Cllr. Pitchford will bring a plan to the next meeting.
