Cherry Willingham Parish Council

Minutes of Cherry Willingham Parish Council held at 7.30pm on Monday 25th July 2022 at The Vine Centre, Cherry Willingham.

Present: Cllr J. Robinson (Chair), Cllr Trahearn (Vice-Chair), Cllr Bates, Cllr Bridgwood, Cllr Brylewski, Cllr Andrew Burge, Cllr Angela Burge, Cllr Fleetwood, Cllr Houghton, Cllr Mellor, Cllr Palmer, Cllr B. Robinson, Cllr Scott, Cllr Bucke

Absent: Cllr Lacy.

No members of the public or District Councillors in attendance.

The meeting commenced at 7.30pm.

2022-107   To agree a minute taker in the absence of the Clerk. RESOLVED to ask Cllr Trahearn, who agreed. 

2022-108   Apologies, welcomes and attendance, including accepting apologies and the reason for absence where given.

Cllr Lacy – RESOLVED unanimously to accept apology and reason for non-attendance.

2022-109   To receive any declarations of interest in accordance with the Localism Act 2011 and consider any requests for dispensations in relation to Disposable Pecuniary Interests or other interests as outlined in the Council’s Code of Conduct.

Cllr Andrew Burge declared a personal interest in item 4.1 

2022-110     Allotments Implementation Task & Finish Group – Chair: Cllr B Robinson.

i)   To consider quotations to construct an LCC highways approved access to the Tanfaine entrance across the highway verge and resolve on which quotation to accept.

RESOLVED to unanimously accept contractor A as recommended by the Task and Finish Group. 

ii)   To consider quotations for the supply of crushed stone for the construction of the access track and car park within the field and resolve on which quotation to accept.

RESOLVED to unanimously accept supplier A as recommended by the Task and Finish Group 

iii)   To consider the budget for the Allotments Implementation Project as recommended by the Allotments Task and Finish Group and resolve accordingly.

It was noted that the council had previously agreed to use the Capital Fund as the source for this budget and had also agreed that the Task and Finish group would have the same spending powers as the Council's committees.

RESOLVED to unanimously accept the budget request of £10,000.
