The next meeting of the Leisure and Amenities Committee will be held in the Millennium Hall on Wednesday 2nd October 2024 at 19:00  It is expected that all members will make every effort to attend.  Any member not able to attend should pass their apologies to either the Chair of the Committee - or the Clerk.

Prior to the start of the meeting a public forum will ordinarily, of no more than 15 minutes, be held.  The public may address the council on current matters or issues that may become future agenda items.

Agenda

1. To note and record apologies and absences.

2. To receive any declarations of interest in accordance with the Localism Act 2011 and consider any requests for dispensations in relation to Disclosable Pecuniary Interests or other interests as outlined in the Council’s Code of Conduct.

3. To receive the minutes of the L & A Committee meeting held on the 10th June  2024 and agree for them to be signed as a true record.

4. To resolve which equipment to purchase using the FCC Community Action Fund, following the Survey .

   1. To review the results of Survey Monkey for teens.

5. To discuss any matters relating to trees and approve any necessary action if required.

6. To Discuss the 25/26 Budget and future project in preparation for the F&GP meeting.

7. To review the regular users policy.

   1. To discuss the Carlton Football Club.

St Pauls & Laburnum

8. Matters relating to Laburnum Drive Playing Field & St Pauls play area.

9. To discuss the hedges at St Pauls and resolve any action

10. Play Inspection

    1. To approve the proposed CWPC play inspection form.

    2. To review training for inspection play equipment.

    3. To approve a rota for play inspections.

    4. To discuss and resolve any actions following the Admin Assistants Play Inspection example.

11. To review the quotes for the noughts and crosses and the musical panel , and to recommend to Full Council

    1. To discuss the location for the above equipment.

10. To receive a report following the topple testing within the Burial Ground

11. To discuss the progress of the cargo net to complete the mound project.

12. To discuss and agree any further expenditure for post erection of signage at the Burial ground, Laburnum Drive Playing Field and St Paul’s Play Area.

13. To review Abu Dhabi and approve any action.

10. General: Any other matters to report for inclusion in the next agenda.

11. To confirm the date of the next meeting.
