To elect a Chair for the Village Improvements Committee
RESOLVED unanimously to elect Cllr A Burge as Chair of the Village Improvements Committee.

To elect a Vice-Chair onto the Village Improvements Committee
RESOLVED unanimously to elect Cllr M Palmer as Vice-chair of the Village Improvements Committee.

To receive notes of the Village Improvement Committee Meeting held on Thursday 09th May 2024 and approve as minutes.
RESOLVED unanimously to approve the minutes from Thursday 09th May 2024 as a true record.

To elect a member from the VIC onto the Finance & General Purposes Committee.
RESOLVED unanimously to elect Cllr S Bates on the F&GP Committee.

To consider and resolve the purchase of a new solar speed sign.
RESOLVED unanimously to obtain quotes, this is to be a project for the Financial year 25/26.

To discuss and resolve any actions to WLDC weed spraying
RESOLVED unanimously for The Clerk to contact Simon Smoothy at WLDC to arrange for this to be carried out.

To discuss and resolve any actions regarding numerous complaints regarding the grass cutting.
Cllr B Robinson and Cllr A Burge have a meeting with Glendale to talk through the issues, they will report back at the next VIC meeting

To discuss and consider any action to Millenium Hall Heating.
RESOLVED unanimously to contact 3 heating engineers to seek advice and cost on a new heating system.

To discuss and resolve the use of a handy person.
RESOLVED unanimously to start using a handyman where and when required. This must be costed for the job and not on an hourly rate.

To receive an update, the bench on the High Street.
The Clerk was instructed to write to the resident to request that the bench be either placed back or that CWPC will take it back to reinstall themselves.

Path from Gilberts Pond to the Burial Ground
The path has now been completed. It was carried out by our volunteer, the Clerk, to write to all the volunteers outside of the council thanking them for their time and help.

Storage Container
The base has now been completed and the slabs ready to be placed in situ for when delivery takes place. The Storage Container is due for delivery on the 18th July 2024
RESOLVED to purchase a lock for the sum of up to £100.

Resilience Policy
DEFERRED was agreed to take out the items that are not relevant to CWPC and keep the template of the Lincolnshire Resilience Policy.

Christmas Tree
A Christmas Tree has been donated for 2025, Cllr B Robinson & Cllr M Palmer to organise

Christmas Lights
It is uncertain to the amount of trees to the amount of working lights CWPC have, Cllr M Palmer & Cllr D Pitchford to report back once its known how many working Christmas lights CWPC have and what is required

Completed.

Speed Gun.
Completed and now purchased.

Flags
Completed and purchased Christmas Flag, a replacement Union Jack flag was also issued FOC as it wasn't fit for purpose.

Dog bin at Little Cherry.
The Clerk to email, and arrange a meet up with the resident. as it has been agreed to purchase the additional bin.

Gilbert's pond update.
The report has indicated there are Great Crested Newts in Gilberts Pond. Cllr M Palmer and The Clerk to write asking for advice on how and when to maintain the Pond.

Regular litter picking is taking place by CWPC team of Volunteers.

It was resolved that this job could be delegated to a handyman once a quotation for the job was obtained for the job.

To receive a report from the Allotment Sub-committee.
All plots are now allocated

To receive a report from Tanfaine.
Nothing new to report at this time, however the Clerk received a call from tenant one to ask if they could take over the tenancy from tenant 2 if they were to sign it over.

To receive a report from the Fundraising Committee.
The Fundraising Committee to put on some warm Space Events during the months of January, February, March 2025, a Gala is also currently being arranged for 2025, the venue is yet to be decided. Cherry Fields have decided they are not holding a Community Picnic in 2025 but plan to do a large event in 2026 to Celebrate the 10yr purchase of the Cherry Fields.
