Present: Cllrs J. Robinson, Andy Burge, B. Robinson.

It was resolved unanimously that Helen McCowan be appointed as Minute taker.
2) To receive apologies to the Clerk
Cllrs J. Trahearn and P. Bucke.
3) Declarations of interest: To record declarations of interest by any member of the Council in
respect of the agenda items listed below. Members declaring interest should identify the
agenda item and type of interest being declared. To note dispensations given to any member
of the Council in respect of the agenda items listed below.
None were declared .
4) To consider quotes for a vehicular gate for the dog exercise area and resolve on the
purchase.
The money for this project is coming from the Co-Op grant money (£664). Quotes have been
received from two companies for the supply only, and supply and installation of a gate, gate post and
associated hardware. The cost of installation is around £600, so it was decided to hire a
digger/auger and install it ourselves.
It was unanimously agreed to accept the quote from Knights for the sum of £297.69 for the gate, gate
post and hardware. Action: BR/clerk
5) To consider any associated expenditure involved in installing the gate, including the hire of
equipment/plant and resolve accordingly.
It was reported that the cost of hiring a digger and auger, including delivery and fuel, was £135.00.
As well as being used to install the vehicular gate to the dog exercise area, the equipment will also
be used to install gateposts at Tanfaine. This will save hiring it again at a later date. This was
unanimously agreed. Action: BR/clerk
