The next meeting of the Village Improvement Committee will be held in the Millennium Hall on Tuesday 5th July 2022 at 10am.  It is expected that all members will make every effort to attend.  Any member not able to attend should pass their apologies to either the Chair of the Committee (Cllr Andy Burge) or the Clerk/RFO.

Prior to the start of the meeting a public forum will ordinarily, of no more than 15 minutes, be held.  The public may address the council on current matters or issues that may become future agenda items.  


Agenda

1.  To resolve to receive any apologies and accept reasons for absence council in respect of the agenda items listed below. 

2.  Declaration of interest: To record declarations of interest by any member of the council in respect of the agenda items listed below.

Members declaring interests should identify the agenda item and type of interest being declared

To note dispensations given to any member of the council in respect of the agenda items listed below.

3.  To receive notes of the Village Improvement Committee Meeting held on Monday 30th May 2022 and approve as Minutes.

4.  To consider a request from a member of the public to install a bus shelter and seat opposite the Parade.

5.  To consider a request from a member of the public to cut the hedge back on the pathway between St Paul’s and Hawthorne Road.

6. To consider a request from the HR Committee to purchase a lockable filing cabinet.

7.  To consider a request from the Clerk to change the lock on the inside Parish Office door.

8.  To consider purchasing a picture frame for the Queen’s Jubilee Certificate.

9.  To approve replacement of the broken window in the office.
