The next meeting of the Village Improvement Committee will be held in the Millennium Hall on Thursday 1st September at 9.30am.
It is expected that all members will make every effort to attend. Any member not able to attend should pass their aplogies to either the Chair of the Committee (Cllr Andy Burge) or the Clerk/RFO.
Prior to the start of the meeting a public forum will ordinarily, of not more than 15 minutes, be held. The public may address the Council on current matters or issues that may become future agenda items.
Agenda
1. To resolve to receive any apologies and accept reasons for absence.
2. Declaration of interest. To record declarations of interest by any member of the council in respect of agenda items listed below.
Members declaring interest should identify the agenda item and type of interest being declared.
To note dispensations given to any member of the council in respect of the agenda items listed below.
3. To receive the notes of the Village Improvement Committee Meeting held Tuesday 5th July 2022 and approve the minutes.
4. To discuss the budget for 2023/2024 and consider any projects.
5. To consider a request for a bus stop on both sides of Fiskerton Road by Janet’s Farm (Cllr Bates)
6. To discuss and resolve any actions as a request from a member of the public at the previous meeting about the sign at Waterford Lane.
7. To discuss and resolve any actions on volunteers doing jobs (Cllr Robinson).
8. To discuss and resolve any actions on the path from the Graveyard to Lady Meers and trees/hedges. (Cllr Mellor).
9. To discuss and resolve the request from a member of the public at Full Council about reducing the speed or moving the speed sign at Little Cherry.
10. Removal of obsolete signs around the village.
11. To discuss and resolve any actions from the meeting of the Christmas working party.
12. To discuss and resolve any action in respect of the letter from a resident ref Minster Drive.
13. To discuss the parking issue at the Primary as requested by a resident.
14. To discuss what action to be taken within the village over overgrown hedges (Cllr Mellor).
15. To consider other uses for Tanfaine.
